GET TO KNOW ME
I grew up in Springfield, VA with my parents and older sister. I graduated from Bishop Ireton High School having spent four years on the baseball team, four years on the Student Council, and having achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. I then attended Virginia Tech to study Sports Media and Analytics. During my four years in college, I was an active participant in intramural sports and the Relay for Life. I also spent three-and-a-half years as a Videography Intern and Broadcast Production Assistant for Virginia Tech Athletics. My experience led me to a full-time opportunities with Boston College Football as an Assistant Video Coordinator and Sightline Media Group as an Editor for short form and broadcast media. I currently live in Alexandria, Virginia.

MY IMPACT IN MY CURRENT ROLE
When I joined the Military Times' team, I was tasked with launching short-form vertical video efforts across social media platforms, namely on YouTube and Tik Tok. When I started, the Military Times' YouTube channel had just over 80,000 subscribers. Today , it has over 405,000 subscribers and has amassed over 150,000,000 views in the last 18 months. Tik Tok was more of a fresh start. We began with less than 100 followers and currently have over 100,000. FaceBook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn have all also seen millions of views and tremendous growth during my tenure.

​​​​My role has evolved further and required me to be a jack-of-all-trades. I also regularly host and edit our weekly 30-minute television show — 'Defense News Weekly'. I'm responsible for pitching, shooting, and cutting three to eight minute segments for the show as well. I've been on various field shoots, which require me to have both technical skills and a strong storytelling ability. ​
